Research & Development in the School of Nursing and Midwifery
The goal of the School of Nursing and Midwifery's Research and Development Program is to contribute to the achievement of improved health outcomes of individuals, families, and communities at a national and international level.
In meeting the above goal emphasis is placed on:
- Creating a vibrant research environment to facilitate positive research outcomes for higher degree by research students, academic staff and industry partners;
- The development of international evidence-based best practice in health care; and
- Building on established links within the Division of Health Sciences, the University and Australian and International partners.
The three research priority areas are:
- Women's and Children's Health
- Mental Health
- Ageing, Acute, Ambulatory and Chronic Care (including Centre for Cardiovascular and Chronic Care)
